I have discovered Annie Sloan Chalk Paints and Wax Finish. This edge treatment is the color I used to refinish an old china cabinet and happened to notice that it complimented the dogwood leaves in this little study of fragile things. Fog and a spider web draped in dew. 

The cradled panel makes it perfect for sitting on a shelf or piece of furniture making it a painting/sculpture. Don't you think?
