I have used Royal Talens Rembrandt Oil paint almost exclusively for about 15 years so I was thrilled to be approached by Royal Talens North America about becoming an Ambassador in the fall of 2016.
Before I began painting full-time I was experimenting with various oil colors and found that my favorite by far was Rembrandt. I was drawn to the finely ground and dense pigment load, the many transparent colors, and the workable consistency from color to color. For my painting style, these oils are perfect straight out of the tube; no need to complicate things by adding mediums. Basically, I still recommend them to my students and art friends and I geek out about their lusciousness, just like I always have but now my husband calls me Madame Ambassador.
